In São Paulo, a citizen of the Kingdom of North Barchant, acting on an assignment from the Kingdom’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Oscar I, Emperor-King of Karnia-Ruthenia and Head of the Karnia-Ruthenian Empire. His official title is Emperor-King of Karnia-Ruthenia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the history of their respective states, current developments, and matters of mutual interest, as well as exchanged commemorative gifts.

As part of the assignment entrusted to him by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the citizen of North Barchant presented Oscar I with stamps and banknotes of the Kingdom, along with a book dedicated to the history of North Barchant. In return, the Emperor-King presented a unique commemorative item — the very first specimen of the first postcard designed by Karnia-Ruthenia — as well as an Order of Karnia-Ruthenia and commemorative symbols of Brazil.

Another part of the visit to São Paulo was devoted to exploring the city’s history. The citizen of North Barchant visited the Ipiranga Museum, whose building was constructed as a monument commemorating Brazil’s independence and today remains one of the city’s most recognizable historical landmarks.

Meetings such as this are about more than the exchange of gifts and ceremonial gestures. They provide an opportunity to learn firsthand about the history of other states, discuss the present, and strengthen ties between people who are building their countries, traditions, and international relations.

Each new meeting adds another page to the international history of the Kingdom of North Barchant.
