Every nation has a distinction that holds a special place within its honours system. For the Kingdom of North Barchant, that distinction is the Order of the Milky Way — the Kingdom’s highest state honour.

The Order was established to mark the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom and is awarded by decision of Queen Anna Makko for outstanding service to humanity.
